Key Responsibilities Assist the sub project and the Onshore Package Manager in all exciting aspects regarding onshore cable installation, especially monitoring the cable contractors design and engineering and take responsibility for providing and coordinating all ZTT´s supplies to the sub project e.g. as-built data, interfaces with third party companies etc. Support schedule logic development, including task sequencing, durations and dependencies. Review and approve subcontractor´s engineering, procedures and activities, also on-site visits as well as selecting and managing onshore representatives during all relevant working steps where required. Align with Clients technical specialists of different organisational units wherever further expertise is needed in order to gain the highest possible quality for the projects, likewise with the Marine Warranty Surveyor and relevant authorities. Assist the interface between cable and onshore stations as well with the submarine cable contractor regarding the connection of onshore cable. Ensure compliance with deadlines, costs, quality and HSE guidelines, Client´s documentation requirements and German authorities regulations. Support coordination with engineering, site operations, logistics and HSE teams. What do we offer you An exciting and interesting field of work in a multicultural team. You can expect a motivated and growing team as well as an open working atmosphere. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in the field of civil engineering or a comparable qualification. First onshore cable installation experience would be an advantage. First experience in project management or coordination of construction sites, ideally in the environment of onshore cables. As we work with international partners, good skills in English, business-fluent both in spoken and written, are required – German and/or Mandarin skills are an advantage. Cooperation with the teams and external service providers is one of your most important tasks, which is why you have an assertive, independent, open-minded and team-oriented personality and bring good communication skills to work in a multi-cultural team, with a strong willingness to learn. You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated; you take responsibility and ownership. The role requires the candidate to be located in or near Hamburg, with the ability to commute to the office daily. This is a full-time, office-based role, with occasional travel for site visits and stakeholder meetings. The candidate must be willing to travel as required, combined with a class B driving licence. Candidate must be legally authorised to work in Germany (valid visa or work permit).
