Financial Reporting Officer Job Description
The Financial Reporting Officer will be responsible for drafting thorough reports on financial sustainability, including detailed analyses of revenue, expenses, and profitability by business segment.
The role involves identifying trends and variances impacting the profit and loss statement and conducting in-depth analyses of financial data.
Additionally, the successful candidate will review and update relevant reporting procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current practices.
They will also design and implement detective controls to enhance the integrity of the reporting process.
Preparation of regular and ad hoc financial performance monitoring reports for management is a key aspect of this position.
Supporting the automation and streamlining of financial reporting activities will also be an important responsibility.
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
* A university degree, preferably at the postgraduate level, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
* At least three years of relevant professional experience in financial administration, finance, auditing, or cost control.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required.
* An excellent command of English, both spoken and written, is essential. Knowledge of other EU languages would be beneficial.
* Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is advantageous.
