This is a remote / work from home position.Responsibilities :Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and other international standards as appropriate.Develop recommendations based on standards.Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.Provide training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants.Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation.Prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback, and prepare stewardship reports.Work assigned is typical of a higher technical need and involves direct contact with clients’ upper management including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.Provide project management services, including special visits, plan reviews, and oral/written presentations to clients.Domestic travel is required, and international travel might be required with sufficient, advance notice.Qualifications :5+ years of related, consulting experience.Bachelor's Degree / Honours degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, preferably in engineering or an aligned field of study.Preferably hold or be actively working toward certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CE) status, NFPA or CFPA Diploma, or equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
