Responsibility:
* Category Management: Lead purchasing and sales activities for the FMCG category, which may include one or more of the following: Beauty, Personal Care, Health & Wellness, Food & Beverages, Household & Laundry, Pets, Toys, or Baby products.
* Performance Ownership: Drive gross profit margin (GPM) and gross merchandise value (GMV) for assigned categories. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
* Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.
* Procurement Negotiations: Identify and engage with potential partners, manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and cost efficiencies, validate fees, and ensure accurate data maintenance.
* Product Selection: Curate and select category-specific products that align with consumer demand and usage scenarios.
* Resource Coordination: Collaborate with international supply chain teams to secure necessary resources and support.
* Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze sales and procurement data to identify trends, propose improvements, and enhance gross profit margins.
Requirements:
* Experience: At least 8 years of e-commerce experience in FMCG categories.
* Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG categories with strong market insights and proven purchasing expertise.
* Network: Established relationships within the FMCG network in France or Germany.
* Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking. Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.
* Mindset: Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organizational goals.
