Overview
Head of Accounting function with full ownership, including strategic and operational leadership of the Accounting team and Shared Service Teams. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
Responsibilities

* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
* Act as key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and internal audit teams, ensuring transparent and effective collaboration
* Take responsibility for managing relationships with critical external service providers and driving performance through active stakeholder management
* Main stakeholder to address administrative topics within the local management structure, business partner to local management
* Continuously optimize accounting processes and contribute to the further development of Finance in alignment with company-wide initiatives
* Develop and lead a high-performing Accounting team with a focus on reliability, collaboration, and process excellence

Who we are looking for
* Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or a comparable qualification
* Ideally passed the German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) and/or Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) exam
* Several years of leadership experience in accounting or finance functions, preferably within a corporate group structure
* Strong expertise in MS Office and very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO, high IT affinity
* Solid understanding of HGB and IFRS accounting standards
* Combines a pragmatic, hands-on approach with personal resilience and a reliable, solution-driven mindset
* Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

Our lift plant in Neuhausen is not only the only one in Germany with continuous production of all components - with around 1,000 employees and a production area of 48,000 square metres, it is also the largest of its kind in Europe. Expertise in the engineering and production of lift systems and components is pooled here, innovations are developed and tested and existing components are constantly optimised. We manufacture more than 1,200 lift systems per year and over 17,500 drives here - with an export quota of 70% to all continents of the world.
