About the position: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Controller Officer to join our finance team. You will support the Finance Senior Manager in executing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with EU grant regulations, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our financial systems and processes. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid accounting and financial administration experience, who can quickly adapt and contribute to a dynamic, international environment. Missions and key Accountabilities: Financial Operations Contribute to monthly and annual financial closings in coordination with external accounting partners. Ensure full compliance with grant-related financial rules and donor requirements. Prepare, review, and consolidate financial data for internal reporting, audits, and management reviews. Team and Stakeholder Collaboration Deliver responsive and reliable administrative and financial support to internal teams. Act as a point of contact for inquiries from grant beneficiaries, vendors, and external partners. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and support ad hoc business and operational needs. Qualifications and experience: 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or grant administration. You are proficient with MS Office, notably Excel, and have experience using ERP software such as Oracle or Netsuite You are a fluent English speaker – the business language is English. You are analytical, detail oriented, and rigorous. You respect timelines and deadlines. You have a proven ability to connect with people, combining strong communication and listening skills. You are proactive, independent and trustworthy.
