WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Leading the strategic department to achieve high effectiveness and flexibility in supporting multiple projects in a matrix organization
* Management of projects / programs medium and heavy combat and support vehicles
* Responsibility for the platform strategy & architecture with direct reference to changing market and customer requirements
* Execution and implementation of the defined development tasks in planned time and cost
* Interface management between customer / program management and core engineering
* Continuous development of tools, processes and capabilities along the entire development process
* Implementation and follow-up of regular project / program audits including reporting with regard to quality and the definition of KPIs
* Establishing and maintaining strategic alliances with industry partners, faculties and forums (INCOSE, GfSE, etc.) in relation to tactical vehicles and systems
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
* Completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, aerospace or comparable
* Several years of professional and management experience in a comparable position and in the field of vehicle technology
* Experience in the defense, automotive, aerospace industry desirable
* Very good understanding of development processes
* Strong analytical and rhetorical skills
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Willingness to travel
