Were partnering with one of Europes fastest-growing Deep Tech platforms as they enter a major scale-up phase and look to appoint a Director of Content & Programming.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced conference producer, editorial leader, journalist, or content strategist to help shape the agenda for one of the most influential communities in European technology.
The organisation sits at the intersection of founders, investors, corporates, scientists, policymakers, and emerging technologies. As they continue to grow, they are looking for someone to own the intellectual direction of the platform and curate the conversations that matter.
The Opportunity
This is far more than conference production.
Youll lead the content strategy, speaker programme, and thought leadership agenda across a portfolio covering AI, Defence, Space, Energy, Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing, Computing, and emerging technologies.
Working directly with the founders, youll be responsible for identifying the themes shaping the future, attracting world-class speakers, and building a content engine that extends well beyond the flagship event itself.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the content and programming strategy for a flagship European technology platform
* Curate high-impact conference agendas and speaker line-ups
* Build relationships with leading founders, investors, scientists, policymakers, and industry leaders
* Drive year-round thought leadership across editorial, digital, and event channels
* Identify emerging trends and shape the narratives influencing the Deep Tech ecosystem
* Lead and develop a small but growing content and programming function

* Experience designing conference agendas or editorial programmes
* Strong speaker acquisition and stakeholder management skills
* Exceptional writing, interviewing, and content development capability
* The ability to engage credibly with senior executives, founders, investors, and technical experts
* A genuine curiosity and experience within technology, innovation, science, and the future of deep tech industry
