Your Role & Impact
As part of our Credit Decision Team, you will be responsible for the credit assessment of new and existing customers applying for Merchant Cash Advances (MCAs). You will process applications from thousands of German and Danish businesses coming through our global partners.
* In-depth Analysis: You assess repayment capacity and risk profiles by analyzing financial data, financial statements, and revenue/payment data.
* Structuring: You decide on the terms of financing offers (amount, duration, price), balancing risk with growth.
* Risk & Compliance: Using state-of-the-art third-party systems, you manage KYC checks as well as onboarding and compliance risks.
* Process Optimization: You work closely with other teams to continuously improve our risk engine and internal workflows.
Requirements
Your Profile
* Analytical Focus: You enjoy working with data and possess high attention to detail.
* Experience: Ideally, you have 1–2 years of experience in underwriting or finance; however, we also welcome highly motivated talents with a strong analytical background.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel is a prerequisite.
* Hands-on Mentality: You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with daily deadlines.
* Languages: You communicate confidently and professionally in German and English.
Nice to Have
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience handling large datasets (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
* Experience in the field of SME financing in Germany, ideally with Cash Advances.
