Internal Auditor Fund Manager
Aufgaben
Conducting or supporting fund audits as a specialist to identify weaknesses, review internal controls, assess risks, and develop risk-oriented insights based on the findings to improve business processes / Optimize business processes and structures / Plan and conduct audits and special projects for the private market sector, and discuss the findings with board members of the audited companies to strengthen governance / Preparing and reviewing audit reports / Reporting findings concisely in written form and discussing audit results with the Head of Internal Audit / Monitoring the timely implementation of recommendations based on the findings in the audit reports / Participation in meetings with the head of internal audit or, as required, in meetings of the audit committee / As required, supporting external auditors or supervisory authorities / Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines / Further developing methodology and quality assurance, collaborating on improvements to audit tools and systems, etc. / Conducting training as needed / Ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Business Informatics / Certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, or CISA required / Professional experience in auditing with audits of fund managers with private market investments or as a senior auditor in asset management at a bank / Knowledge of the regulatory environment in asset management / Experience in data analysis/data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) / Analytical, conceptual thinker with the ability to work as well as to make decisions independently and autonomously / Highly self-motivated, team-oriented, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills / IT flair / Proficient in MS Office / German and English.
