This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany. Hauptaufgaben 1a. Central Work-Order Intake & Compliance Control Serves as the installation's central point for Plant Work Orders (PWOs) and Work Requests (WRs). Screens submissions for completeness, funding and regulatory sufficiency, and correct coding (maintenance/repair vs. minor construction; customer identification; shop assignment). Returns non-compliant requests with corrective instructions; advises requestors on required documentation. Converts DMOs to WRs (DA 4283) as appropriate and routes approved actions to Engineering or O&M. Maintains suspense and lifecycle tracking for all requests; provides authoritative status information to stakeholders. b. Transaction Processing & Data Quality Creates, validates, and updates transactions across GFEBS, ArMA, EMH and related databases. Monitors system rejects and initiates corrective action; reconciles discrepancies between systems and source documents. Inputs time confirmation transactions in GFEBS and validates accuracy. Produces and distributes recurring and ad-hoc status reports and dashboards to requestors and management; consolidates/cancels/updates records as required. Recommends minor procedural improvements to increase throughput and data accuracy; drafts edits for SOP/job aids for supervisor approval. c. Customer Liaison, Coordination & Training Operates the Work Reception/Customer Service point for the installation. Provides authoritative guidance on submission requirements, processing timelines, and workflow responsibilities. Coordinates with Real Property, Engineering, O&M and other stakeholders on status, priorities, and documentation. Trains new employees and frequent customers in submission procedures and use of web-based request tools; develops brief how-to materials and checklists. 2 Translation/Office Automation & Records Management Provides accurate, context-appropriate translation/interpretation of routine technical correspondence and work-order related documentation to support contractors and DPW personnel. Performs advanced office automation using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases to prepare forms, reports, and correspondence. Establishes and maintains official files/suspense systems for each request in accordance with regulations; compiles monthly/quarterly reports and retains required backup documentation.
