Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Hannove in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes and step thru e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.
With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking sales professionals to join us as Sales & Operations Manager for Hannover Region.
The role of our Sales & Operations Manager will include but not limited to:
* Develop a network of bike dealers within his/her region for B2B sales achievements via business development activities (phone calls, dealer visits)
* Maintain, nurture and service existing and new dealers for matters involving both pre-sales and after-sales.
* operate Leon Cycle retail stores
* Hire and recruit personnel for the retail store (sales and technician staff)
* Be responsible for full P&L of offline sales activities within their region and city (both B2B and B2C)
* Work closely with EU Headquarter in london for executing offline retail marketing campaigns, attending to tradeshows and cycle fairs within the region
* Communicate with EU HQ in london on operational matters from logistics, warehouse, sales operations and sales forecasts
* Assist with online customer shipping needs from the local region
* Lead and motivate the retail/sales team
The ideal candidate should exhibit:
* 8-15 years of relevant retail, sales and business development experience in sporting goods, consumer goods or bikes/e-bikes industry, first preference will be given to applicants with e-bikes and electric mobility industry experience
* Experience in cultivating and setting up a business sales network and retail operations
* Strong self-discipline to work independently with a sheer focus on sales results
* Exceptional communication skills in both English and native German
* Good knowledge of local retail operations
* Experience in developing a dealer network highly regarded
* Experience in managing and driving P&L
* Previous entrepreneurial experience highly regarded
