Role: Hardware Architect – Automotive (m/f/d)
* Define architectures for electronic control units and components
* Process customer requirements and requests from OEMs
* Increase development capacities for hardware and component development
* Development of the hardware architecture: conception and design of powerful and scalable hardware solutions
* Technology evaluation and component selection: selection of suitable components and evaluation of newer technologies
* Cross-team collaboration: coordination with departments such as software, system, and mechanics
* Conduct tests, failure analyses, and performance optimization
* Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of technical documentation and compliance with quality standards
Requirements:
* Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or comparable – ideally with a focus on electronic systems in the vehicle
* Several years of experience in the development of automotive hardware, control units, sensors, actuators, power distribution systems, and high-speed design and signal integrity
* Knowledge of automotive-specific standards and norms, e.g., ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Automotive SPICE, EMC requirements, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
* Experience with hardware development tools and simulation, e.g., Altium, Automotive SPICE
