Plant Research Scientist
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Pharmaceutical Botanist.
The successful candidate will lead scientific discovery, establish innovative analytical methodologies, design and execute sophisticated laboratory experiments, and pioneer complexity science applications.
* Lead Scientific Discovery: Drive independent programs to identify novel plant species with untapped potential for development.
* Establish Innovative Analytical Methodologies: Develop advanced techniques including chromatography and spectroscopy for characterizing complex bioactive compounds.
* Design and Execute Sophisticated Laboratory Experiments: Evaluate the efficacy and safety of plant-derived products.
* Pioneer Complexity Science Applications: Assess multi-compound interactions within products and their holistic effects on animal welfare, health, and performance.
Collaboration and Translation In our organization, collaboration drives innovation. You'll work closely with subject-matter experts across various fields to translate your discoveries into market-ready solutions.
* Lead Scientific Documentation: Maintain detailed research records that contribute to patent applications and publications.
* Presentation of Research Findings: Present research findings to internal stakeholders and external scientific communities.
* Regulatory Submissions: Support submissions for breakthrough product innovations.
* Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to team members on botany topics, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
* Process Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of processes and projects.

* PhD preferred in Botany, Phytochemistry, Ethnobotany or related field (exceptional Master's candidates with research leadership experience considered).
* Proven research excellence with publications in peer-reviewed journals and laboratory leadership experience.
