* You develop optical systems for cinematography.
* You conduct optical design studies, including design and tolerance analysis, to ensure the quality of our products.
* You work on the further development of our models and methods to optimize system performance.
* You negotiate error budgets and specifications with clients and customers.
* You regularly communicate with internal and external partners to clarify technical issues and find solutions.
* A successfully completed degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Photonics, or a comparable field.
* Several years of practical experience in the development of optical systems.
* Excellent knowledge of physical and technical optics.
* Excellent knowledge of optical design and simulation software (e.g., Code V, Zemax, FRED) as well as programming languages (e.g., Python).
* An independent and systematic working style, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
