Responsibilities / Tasks
* Managing the payroll process via external provider for the country, across multiple legal entities.
* Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining payroll records.
* Advising management on various projects and change management in the processes or policies of GEA
* Understanding and enforcing GEA global and local policies updated and integrated into payroll processing
* Working closely with local HRBP's and our central HR hub on day-to-day task and driving projects
* Making sure our Workday system is synced with the payroll software, performing data entry as needed
* Ensuring timely payments of salary, taxes and applicable social charges
* Replying to employee queries, escalating queries and concerns as needed. Draw conclusion of process improvements
* Act as a responsible backup in times of absence
Your Profile / Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, managing stakeholders and projects.
* Proficiency in Danish and English is needed
* Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
* Proficiency in payroll softwares, Microsoft Office, Workday, various HR systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
