ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this key position, you will be actively involved in shaping the future of the German business. As the position is a key management position, you must have the ambition to actively shape growth and commercial success in both the national and international environment. The role is extremely hands-on and requires leadership by example. You must come from the manufacturing world and get into the detail to drive and deliver performance and operational objectives. This can only be achieved by being visible and seen on the production floor on a regular basis. You will have a firm grip on the numbers and make a significant contribution to achieving the company's goals as a control authority and as a creative analyst and initiator. As a member of the local management team, you will actively shape the sustainable development of the company. You will be involved in the development and implementation of the integration strategy and will make a significant contribution to the optimal positioning of the organisation for further growth. As a stock listed company, effective controls and accurate and timely reporting are critical.
Duties:
* Lead and develop your team
* Closely cooperate with all members of the management team
* Lead and manage the Internal and External audit processes
* Establish and maintain effective internal controls
* Ensure compliance with the Group Accounting Manual
* Define and continually improve finance processes and advise on other business processes from a finance perspective
* Support and drive the Group’s Planet Passionate sustainability program
* Actively engage in the implementation of a new ERP system
* Coordinate and implement local budget and planning processes
* Prepare business analyses and forecasts – lead the measurement, analysis and monitoring of KPIs
* Business management advice and support for management and departments
* Control of monthly and annual reporting processes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
* Investment calculations for the further development and modernisation of the company
* Own and lead daily finance operations, including AP, AR, cash management, payroll and local taxes
* Participate in group-wide projects
Experience, skills and competences:
* Degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting and controlling
* Long-term career path in the finance environment with increasing responsibility in a management function in a medium-sized manufacturing company or group with an international orientation
* Strong analytical skills, coupled with a talent for making figures transparent and drawing the necessary conclusions from them
* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in German and English is CRITICAL.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting and controlling and/or professional finance qualification
