This leadership role reports directly to the General Maintenance Manager and oversees a team including two team leads, one training supervisor, and one electrical project manager.Key Objectives:Ensure a safe working environment and foster a strong safety culture within the department.Guarantee compliance with all legal regulations and operational limits.Manage and control the annual electrical maintenance budget.Maximise equipment availability and meet agreed electrical KPIs.Support optimisation of systems and operational processes.Enhance employee satisfaction and motivation through training and workplace improvements.Align departmental priorities with company goals to drive continuous improvement, automation, and safe operations using the latest technologies.Responsibilities:Promote awareness and compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and energy standards.Support site leadership in maintaining and improving plant safety, explosion and fire protection, occupational safety, environmental protection, and energy management systems.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Performance Excellence).Plan and manage new installations or expansions of electrical systems.Provide technical support and resources for process engineering projects.Define standards for all electrical systems across the site.Act as the responsible electrical specialist (per DIN VDE and operator of all electrical systems (per DIN VDE at the Hamburg site.Your Profile:Completed training as an Electrical Technician (Master level) or equivalent qualification.Several years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong commitment to safety and compliance.In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems (low and medium voltage), technical standards (IEC), and legal regulations.Familiarity with recognised technical standards such as VDE/DIN, especially explosion protection regulations.Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills with a structured, team-oriented approach.Excellent problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and conflict resolution competence.Fluent in German (C1 level) and proficient in English.What We Offer:Challenging responsibilities with short decision-making paths and a high level of autonomy.Structured onboarding and targeted training.Space for innovation and personal growth with opportunities to shape your career path.A culture that promotes continuous learning and diversity.Excellent career development opportunities within a global leader in nutrition and sustainability.Competitive compensation and a wide range of employee benefits.
