In our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you as Group Controller (f/m/x)
TASKS WITH IMPACT
* Act as a commercial sparring partner for international subsidiaries (local CFOs, local controlling teams, etc.)
* Conduct regular evaluations and provide commentary on the business and financial performance of international group companies
* Manage and analyze regular forecasts and the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets
* Assess and comment on international investment projects for executive management
* Develop scenario models and long-term financial planning
* Identify improvement potentials and apply best practice approaches across our international entities
* Support post-merger integration projects (e.g., harmonizing financial reporting)
YOUR SKILLS
* Successfully completed university degree with a focus on controlling, finance, or a related field
* Several years of professional experience in controlling or in an auditing firm, ideally in the retail or FMCG industry
* Strong financial modeling skills and solid knowledge of Excel; ability to create financial models and conduct advanced data analysis
* Confident use of BI tools and multidimensional reporting systems
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and convincingly convey complex financial information
* Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
* Very good English skills, both spoken and written, for effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
