With a growing demand across the DACH region, the company is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead its regional commercial development. This is a key position at the crossroads of science and strategy.

YOUR MISSION
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and managing key accounts within the cosmetics and personal care ecosystem in the DACH region. Your clients will range from ingredient manufacturers to brand owners — all with complex scientific and regulatory needs.
You’ll work in tandem with technical project teams (scientists, toxicologists, regulatory specialists) to provide tailored solutions and ensure long-term client success.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and grow the company’s footprint in Germany and the broader DACH region
* Promote high-value services such as clinical testing, in vivo protocols, safety assessments, and regulatory support
* Identify new opportunities and engage with decision-makers in R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Innovation, and Product Development
* Co-create technical proposals in collaboration with internal experts
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and congresses
YOUR PROFILE
You may come from:
* Cosmetic ingredient suppliers
* CDMO/contract manufacturing
* Testing labs or scientific consultancies
* Regulatory, formulation, or quality roles with client-facing exposure
Above all, we’re looking for someone who can build credibility and trust with technical decision-makers — someone who understands both the science and the stakes of product performance and compliance.
Must-have:
* Fluent German (C1+) and professional-level English
* 3–5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing technical roles
* Strong understanding of formulation, efficacy, regulatory processes, or safety testing
* Based in Germany (ideally in the North), with willingness to travel
Bonus points for:
* Experience with clinical or in vivo studies (e.g., SPF, anti-aging, skin tolerance)
* Familiarity with cosmetics/pharma regulations (EU 1223/2009, ISO 24444, FDA, EMA)
