Role Overview We are hiring MES Engineers to support mission-critical manufacturing operations within a major European aerospace environment. The role involves hands-on shopfloor support, ensuring production continuity, resolving incidents, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives in a highly structured industrial setting. Key Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 support for MES or SAP-based production/manufacturing systems Work directly on the production floor with engineering and operations teams Troubleshoot real-time manufacturing incidents and system disruptions Support digital transformation and process optimization initiatives Act as the technical bridge between IT, engineering, and production operations Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Must-Have Requirements Previous experience working in a European aerospace or high-regulated manufacturing environment Hands-on MES or SAP shopfloor support experience (L1/L2 level) Comfortable working fully on-site (no remote option) in Bremen, Hamburg, or Augsburg Strong communication skills in German (B2 or above) Valid EU work eligibility / residence rights Nice-to-Have Skills Experience as Business Methods Engineer, MES Specialist, or Production IT Support Exposure to digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or lean operations Familiarity with incident management & escalation workflows Basic understanding of agile or process improvement frameworks Location Options: Bremen / Hamburg / Augsburg (On-site only) Language Requirement: German B2 minimum, C1 preferred
