Your Tasks
Your Role
As a Systems Engineer / Systems Architect (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in our product and project development. You’ll act as the technical owner, connecting customers, engineering teams, and project management. Your responsibilities include:
* Discussing and analyzing technical requirements with customers
* Creating requirement specifications (customer and internal)
* Defining and maintaining the product specification (technical product ownership)
* Translating customer needs into engineering requirements
* Designing the system architecture and supporting integration and verification activities
* Acting as the technical interface between external stakeholders and internal development teams (electronics, software, mechanics, acoustics)
* Presenting products and technologies at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
* Supporting technical project management, including effort estimation and planning
* Contributing to long-term product and technology strategy

Your Profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar
* Several years of experience in systems engineering – ideally with maritime, acoustic, or embedded electronic systems
* Strong understanding of requirement management and system specification
* Experience with system architecture design and interface definition
* Familiar with tools for requirement management (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, or similar)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
* Fluent in English (German is a plus)
