As a Design Engineer for Gas-Insulated High-Voltage Switchgears, you'll take GIS projects from concept to completion—translating complex technical requirements into detailed structural layouts, circuit diagrams, and calculations that power energy supply initiatives worldwide. You'll collaborate with international expert teams to develop solutions that are both technically robust and commercially viable, serving as the go-to technical contact for customers, suppliers, and partners across borders.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead the primary technical engineering of gas-insulated high-voltage switchgears for international energy supply projects, ensuring each solution meets rigorous technical and economic standards.
2. Manage the full lifecycle of GIS projects—planning, design, control, and monitoring—balancing technical precision with commercial objectives.
3. Create comprehensive order documentation, including structural plans, circuit diagrams, and supporting calculations that guide project execution.
4. Partner with international expert teams to develop innovative switchgear solutions and conduct technical clarifications with customers, suppliers, and partners.
5. Collaborate with internal departments to translate customer requirements into delivered, high-quality engineering outcomes.
What You Bring
6. A university degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology—or completed vocational training paired with extensive relevant professional experience; career starters are also welcome.
7. Hands-on knowledge of electrical power supply systems (medium and high voltage) and experience engineering high-voltage switchgears.
8. Proficiency in AutoCAD for CAD processing.
9. Business fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
