Responsibilities
Make an impact We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Senior Process Engineer to play a key role in optimizing site-level performance. In this role, you'll focus on improving processes, systems, and maintenance activities, ensuring they align with service contract requirements and operational goals. You’ll identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and implement improvements that enhance flow and efficiency. 1. Develop and improve methods for capturing and leveraging data from site processes, systems, and maintenance activities.
2. Analyze process performance to identify inefficiencies and recommend targeted optimizations.
3. Evaluate and implement enhancements to processes and systems, ensuring alignment with site goals and service contract requirements.
4. Communicate process performance status, improvement actions, and results to internal teams and customers through clear reports, presentations, and discussions.
5. Drive lifecycle planning initiatives that demonstrate value and win buy-in from stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with customers and site teams to ensure seamless implementation of changes with minimal disruption.
7. Provide hands-on technical support during process incidents, including root cause analysis, temporary workarounds, and post-incident reviews.
8. Maintain up-to-date documentation, operating procedures, and training tools to support team consistency.
9. Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on process excellence and operational effectiveness.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
10. A degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
11. 8+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role within manufacturing, logistics, or operations
12. Strong understanding of process analysis and continuous improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma or TPM
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
14. Excellent communication skills in English and German, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and customers
15. Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented—able to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels
16. Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
17. Willingness to travel and work on-site (80%), with a hands-on mindset and flexibility to support operational incidents.
