Your tasks
20. Infrastructure Design & Cloud Migration: You will design viable concepts for our server and network infrastructure. You will actively guide the journey to the cloud and ensure that our applications are optimally managed there.
21. Understanding system interaction: You maintain an overview of large, complex IT landscapes. You understand network diagrams in detail and design how different systems (including the new SAP landscape) communicate seamlessly and securely with each other.
22. Security & Connectivity: They define standards for firewall structures, proxy servers and network interfaces.
23. Communication at the interfaces: You can present complex technical concepts in an understandable way and communicate them confidently to both specialist departments and management. You moderate the technical dialogue on equal footing.
24. Evaluate and decide: They examine operating models and technical alternatives. Their expertise forms the basis for investment decisions in the IT infrastructure of tomorrow.
25. Documentation & Transparency: They keep the system landscape (e.g. in SAP LeanIX) up to date and ensure that concepts are not only in mind, but structured and comprehensible.
Your profile
26. Completed IT training, studies or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
27. Experience as an IT all-rounder: You come from practical experience (system administration, network technology) and have worked "behind the scenes" for years. Now you want to use your knowledge to develop concepts instead of just resolving tickets.
28. Infrastructure expertise: Sound knowledge of server landscapes, complex network infrastructure, and in the areas of firewalls and proxy servers.
29. Cloud affinity: Practical experience or deep understanding of cloud environments and their management.
30. Conceptual strength: You enjoy designing architectural guidelines and reading and developing large network plans.
31. Communication skills: They excel at explaining complex solutions and translating departmental requirements into technical guidelines.
32. Knowledge of the SAP environment: Since we are introducing a new SAP landscape, knowledge in this area is a big plus, but not a must – more important is your understanding of the underlying infrastructure.
33. Willingness to travel: As we have several locations, you should be willing to undertake occasional business trips within Germany.
34. Excellent German skills, both written and spoken; good English skills are an advantage.
