Your new role
We are currently inviting dedicated and knowledgeable professionals to join our team as Regulatory Affairs Toxicologists (m/f/d) and Toxicology Experts (Plant Protection and Regulatory Science) (m/f/d) within our expanding Health Science division. If you have a passion for chemical toxicology and extensive experience in regulatory affairs, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Conduct in-depth hazard and risk assessments of various substances, focusing on chemical or plant protection regulations
2. Prepare regulatory dossiers and toxicological sections for Europe-wide registration of chemicals or approval of active substances and products
3. Classification and labelling of substances (CLP/GHS)
4. Research in scientific literature and databases
5. Carry out risk assessments and generate expert toxicological statements
6. Develop and coordinate testing strategies (QSARs, in-vitro, and in-vivo examinations, new approach methodologies (NAMs), read-across methods)
7. Manage studies and collaborate closely with industry, authorities, and research institutions
8. Provide strategic regulatory advice and represent clients at official events
9. Participate in diverse toxicological projects, assessing aspects such as developmental neurotoxicity and endocrine disruption
About you
10. Advanced academic degree in toxicology or related life sciences (Masters or PhD), ideally with certification as an expert in toxicology
11. Several years of professional experience in regulatory toxicology, with a strong focus on EU REACH or plant protection regulation
12. Fluency in German and English, both oral and written, is essential
13. Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills
14. Ability to perform systematic, efficient, and solution-oriented work
15. Excellent communication and presentation abilities
16. Willingness to travel, occasionally within Europe
17. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work under pressure
