**Job Title:** System Architect Specialist
Overview of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team responsible for the development and support of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, requirements management, and agile development methodologies.
About the Job
* Design and develop system architectures for functional areas of the system using agile approaches.
* Further develop functions such as route calculation, POIs, Graphical Information System, database, IT security, taking into account higher-level architectural goals and optimization in the case of necessary trade-offs.
* Create software requirements and collaborate closely with software developers during their development, implementation, and verification.
* Develop automated system and software tests.
* Participate in and prepare meetings with customer representatives as well as internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to the further development of the agile way of working as a team task.
Requirements
* A degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field is required.
* Several years of experience in IT systems design and requirements management involving other disciplines such as software engineering.
* An interest in the processes involved in planning and executing military air operations is desirable.
* The ability to think creatively in a problem-solving manner is essential.
* Experience in agile development projects utilizing Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban is advantageous.
* Understanding of tools for project control (Jira, Confluence), requirements management (IBM DOORS, Jama) and version control (Git) is beneficial.
* Fluent English language skills are necessary for effective communication with international colleagues.
