What You'll Do:

As Director, EMEA Retail/D2C Strategy & Strategic Accounts, you will be accountable for the revenue and growth of the Retail & D2C verticals and strength of Criteo's largest and most strategic verticals.

You’ll oversee a team of Client Partners managing our top Retail & D2C accounts, guiding them to deliver measurable results, identify new opportunities, and represent Criteo as a strategic partner in driving their commerce growth.

You will lead the strategy and development of Retail & D2C advertisers across the region, ensuring strong business outcomes and deep, long-term partnerships. This role combines strategic focus and commercial leadership — turning insight, execution, and collaboration into impact at scale.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver revenue targets and growth according to AOP for strategic accounts across your verticals
2. Own the vertical strategy and growth agenda for Retail & D2C across EMEA, aligning plans with Criteo’s broader commercial priorities.
3. Lead and develop a team of Client Partners, ensuring they drive client success, revenue growth, and strategic depth across their portfolios.
4. Partner with New Business teams to identify and win high-potential Retail & D2C advertisers, building the next generation of strategic accounts.
5. Work cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Marketing to ensure our solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of retail and direct-to-consumer advertisers.
6. Represent the voice of Retail & D2C advertisers within the organization, bringing forward insights and opportunities that shape our go-to-market and product evolution.
7. Ensure consistent excellence in execution, fostering collaboration, focus, and accountability across markets.

Who You Are:

8. 10+ years of experience in retail, ecommerce, or digital advertising, with proven success in driving strategic and commercial growth.
9. Strong understanding of retail and D2C advertiser dynamics, omnichannel strategies, and performance KPIs.
10. Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills, able to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
11. Strategic and analytical mindset — able to translate data and market trends into concrete growth actions.
12. Comfortable operating in a matrixed, fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with executional rigor.
13. Curious, pragmatic, and impact-driven — you combine market insight, collaboration, and accountability to deliver results.
