About the Role As the HR Manager for the DACH region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the people strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This is a highly visible and strategic position where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting them in building high-performing, engaged, and inclusive teams. You will lead the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that align with SC Johnson Professional’s business goals, ensuring that talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness are at the forefront of decision-making. From driving workforce planning and organizational design to leading change management and employee engagement efforts, you will be instrumental in creating a workplace where people thrive. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Operations, and cross-functional business partners to deliver seamless HR support. You’ll also coach and empower a small HR team, fostering their growth and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across the region. Responsibilities Provide strategic HR guidance aligned with business goals Lead organizational change and talent development initiatives Manage the full employee lifecycle across the DACH region Coach leaders on performance, succession, and development Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent Champion employee engagement and inclusion strategies Interpret HR data to inform decisions and improve processes Support HR team development and operational excellence Collaborate on regional and global HR projects Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery Ensure consistency across entities and alignment with SCJ values Lead investigations and support disciplinary and grievance processes Advise on organizational design and strategic workforce planning Manage local benefits and compensation strategies Empower and coach HR team members to build capability and confidence Experience You’ll Bring 7 years of HR experience, ideally in multinational environments Degree in Business, HRM, or related field (Advanced degree preferred) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with European remote teams and HR systems (Workday preferred) Proven track record in project delivery and change management Ability to coach leaders and influence across a matrix organization Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Experience in US multinational environments is a plus Behaviors You’ll Need Collaborative and inclusive mindset Strategic thinking with commercial acumen High integrity and ownership Strong organizational and time management skills Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives Passion for delivering results and driving continuous improvement You must be legally eligible to work in the country This role isn't eligible for international relocation Inclusion & Diversity We believe Inclusion and Diversity is more than a program.
