Job Description: Truck Driver
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate commercial trucks for the transportation of goods between various locations according to schedules and delivery instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Safety First:
* Prioritize the safety of self, other drivers, pedestrians, and cargo at all times.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, lights, and brakes.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
* Practice defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents.
* Respond appropriately to emergencies (e.g., accidents, breakdowns).
* Transportation:
* Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently.
* Plan and execute routes efficiently, considering traffic and delivery schedules.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Documentation:
* Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time (e.g., bills of lading, delivery receipts).
* Communicate any delays or issues to dispatch or supervisors promptly.
* Vehicle Maintenance:
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
* Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
Requirements:
* 3+ years of heavy vehicle driving license.
* Valid driving license to work in Germany.
* Good English communication skills are mandatory.
