Powering progress with every contract! For our valued partner in the international energy sector, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist (m/f/d) for the Düsseldorf site. As a Procurement Specialist in the energy sector, youre not just managing suppliers youre shaping strategic partnerships that support the transition toward sustainable energy. From large-scale infrastructure to technical components, your decisions have a direct impact on security of supply, efficiency, and innovation.
Your tasks:
* Perform supplier registration and qualification, including reviewing questionnaires and conducting validations
* Act as a point of contact for suppliers to assist with providing and updating required information and documents
* Maintain and update supplier data
* Coordinate with internal departments involved in the onboarding workflow
* Escalate issues such as missing feedback or process blockages via Supplier Owner or Team Lead
* Follow up with suppliers and supplier owners for certificate and qualification updates
* Support sourcing tender processes from the suppliers perspective
* Assist with additional tasks such as data quality checks, reporting, and training
Your qualification:
* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field
* Alternatively, completed vocational training (e.g., Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Groß- und Außenhandel, Industriekaufmann/-frau) with relevant experience in procurement or supplier management
* Experience with ERP systems, preferably with procurement modules
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken)
* Strong German communication skills (minimum C1 level) required
