Description Sedgman and HOCHTIEF Infrastructure have been appointed as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management contractor for Vulcan’s Lionheart Project, delivering an end-to-end solution for the Lithium Extraction Plant and Central Lithium Plant. To support our growth, we’re looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany on a contract basis. As the Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for: Head Contract Management Coordinate contract mobilisation and ensure all start ‑ up requirements are delivered. Administer the head contract to protect Sedgman’s rights, cost entitlements, and negotiation position. Provide timely, accurate contractual advice to the Project Manager. Prepare contractual correspondence, notices, claims, and payment submissions. Track and manage deliverables such as securities, insurances, variations, and EOTs. Maintain registers, processes, and documentation to support strong claims and reporting. Monitor project progress vs programme and respond to client changes with appropriate commercial actions. Support dispute resolution activities and attend client meetings as needed. Procurement & Subcontract Management Contribute to procurement planning and identification of subcontract packages. Assist in preparing RFT packages, evaluating tenders, and negotiating subcontract terms. Coordinate subcontract documentation, kick ‑ off meetings, and ongoing performance monitoring. Provide contractual guidance to Package Owners/Managers to support decision ‑ making and compliance. Draft subcontract correspondence and support assessment of variations and EOT claims. Maintain subcontract registers and support management of disputed or high ‑ risk claims. Promote strong record ‑ keeping practices to mitigate risk and support claim defensibility. You are an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator with the following qualifications and background: Relevant tertiary qualifications (preference Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Law). 5-10 years’ experience in a similar position on a multi-disciplined construction project working in or alongside Contracts, Procurement and Construction teams. Practical working knowledge of construction contract law and relevant legislation. Ability to negotiate and make sound commercial and contractual decisions Strong understanding of typical project functions of cost control and forecasting, programming and financial reporting Ability to write effective contractual communication and communicate verbally Ability to effectively self-manage time and prioritise activities from competing demands Self-motivated and success driven Ability to work safely and effectively unsupervised Technically proficient in use of MS Office suite of applications (Intermediate to Advanced). Fluent in English and German language.
