A key player in the automotive industry is looking for a committed and knowledgeable HSE Specialist to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of EHS standards and a proactive approach to workplace safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with European and national health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Develop and implement procedures to identify and mitigate workplace and environmental hazards.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Provide training and guidance on EHS protocols; conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
* Maintain relationships with local authorities, environmental groups, and other stakeholders.
* Manage environmental permits related to energy and waste (air, water, electricity, gas).
* Maintain and update the MSDS database.
* Oversee waste management processes, including supplier coordination and documentation.
* Represent EHS in Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) teams.
* Act as the main point of contact for internal and external sustainability matters.
Your Profile:
* Proven experience in EHS coordination roles.
* Strong knowledge of current EHS regulations and risk assessment tools.
* Experience in continuous improvement and internal auditing.
* Ability to collect, analyze, and report EHS data.
* Strong project management and prioritization skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Fluent in English; German recommended, French is a plus.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemical, industrial risks, technical background with EHS training).
* Certified Technical Course in Health and Safety at Work is an asset.
