This role involves overseeing the efficient management of yard operations, ensuring seamless coordination with various teams to minimize customer experience risks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with site leadership to enhance on-time performance metrics, safety standards, and customer satisfaction levels.
A key aspect of this position is effective communication among multiple stakeholders to streamline the flow of trucks in the yard, guaranteeing timely arrival and departure.
The successful candidate will be accountable for reporting yard performance to local site leadership, identifying root causes of structural issues, and driving resolution through collaboration with various stakeholders.
In addition, this role requires proactive identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
* Partner with Site Leadership to Improve On-Time Performance, Safety Metrics and Customer Experience.
* Streamline Communication between Multiple Stakeholders to Ensure Timely Arrival and Departure of Trucks.
* Report Yard Performance to Local Site Leadership, Identify Root Causes and Drive Resolution.
* Proactively Identify and Lead Process Improvement Initiatives using Lean Tools.
