Your Key Responsibilities
1. Technical responsibility for the functional development of variable valve train systems and actuators
2. Development and evaluation of technical concepts and solutions based on measurements, simulations and prototype systems
3. Definition of requirements in coordination with the customer and internal departments (system integration, system calibration and software development)
4. Documentation of the functional requirements and creation of the system architecture with a focus on the control system
5. Definition and implementation of OBD functions
Your Qualifications
6. Completed studies in automotive, electrical or control engineering or mechatronics or similar
7. Professional experience in the development of electromotive actuators as BLDC motors with gears, electronics and software from design to series production
8. System knowledge in electronics, software, mechanics and their interaction
9. Experience in system development and validation of motor controls (desirable)
10. Skilled in dealing with customers and business fluent in written and spoken German and English
11. User knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, INCA and common automotive bus systems
12. Confident handling of development processes such as ASPICE
13. Analytical thinking and an independent way of working as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
