Your tasks & Responsibilities:
* Development of new flavours in lines with customer projects and proactive projects
* Responsible for the assigned tasks regarding adherence to briefing guidelines considering specified costs, legislation and deadlines to be kept
* Matching of competitor's flavours
* Optimizing and adjustment of existing flavours for various applications (Cigarettes, Shisha, Nicotine pouches, E-Liquid etc.)
* Evaluation and utilization of analytical results including chromatography & sensory analyses
* Evaluation and introduction of new raw materials
* Handling of projects in close cooperation with Application, Sensory, Marketing, Sales and other specific departments
* Support of Key Account Managers (customer visits inland and abroad)
* Support of production regarding the implementation of flavours from laboratory measure into production measure
* Ensure proper Data Management
* Solve Laboratory and Production issues as they may occur during development or manufacturing
* Flavour portfolio management
* Solve flavour performance issue in their applications
Your profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree of Science in Chemistry, Food Science/Food Technology or comparable education (e.g. certified Flavourist)
* Flavourist with more than 5 years of experience in the area of Tobacco Industry/Tobacco flavour creation
* Flavour creation experience in Tobacco Segment
* Excellent Tobacco market understanding
* Expert level knowledge: Flavour formulation and flavour processing
* Demonstrate expert-level tasting skills
* Knowledge of sensory analysis tools
* Fluent language skills in English and good level in German would be a plus
