Join our client's dynamic Risk Management function as a Senior Operational Risk Manager, where you'll be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and controlling operational risks across the organization and its subsidiaries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement.
The Role:
* Proactive risk management through monitoring of key business processes and controls within the Internal Control System, including identification of emerging risks
* Strategic leadership and co-design of forward-thinking projects
* Close collaboration with various central functions and process owners to promote risk-aware culture and strengthen internal control systems
* Professional and compelling presentation of content to internal and external stakeholders (Business Owners, Internal Audit, External Auditors, Regulatory Authorities)
* Creation of decision papers, presentations and analyses for senior management
* Development and enhancement of processes and methodologies for operational risk management
Your Profile:
* Several years of experience in risk management, audit, consulting or similar roles with practical experience in planning, developing and implementing risk management initiatives
* Strong expertise in operational risk management topics
* Relevant degree (or comparable) in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills
* Excellent written communication and presentation abilities, particularly for complex subject matters
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
* Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
