Your Tasks
* Membership in the Payment & Basket Platform Team responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of highly available backend systems hosted on GCP
* Significant influence on solution architecture in accordance with enterprise architecture principles and coding standards
* Assurance of efficient product backlog delivery
* Contribution to backlog management with emphasis on technical debt and product quality
* Improvement and automation of existing processes and solutions through Infrastructure as Code
* Advocacy for technology best practices and assurance of their adherence by product teams
* Provision of support to product teams in cloud services, web security, and continuous integration pipelines
* Active participation in the technical community for Cloud competency
Your Profile
* Strong interest in secure, highly scalable, multi-region hosted backend systems
* Fundamental knowledge of system architectures, network protocols, and operating systems (desirable)
* Profound expertise in configuration and maintenance of cloud platform services (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) using Infrastructure as Code
* Familiarity with common DevOps technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, Nginx, GitOps, etc.)
* Skills in application firewall configuration, including rate limitations and bot detection rules (advantageous)
* Good knowledge of programming languages (especially Node.js) and document-based databases
* Experience in cross-functional teams within agile enterprise environments (advantageous)
* Fluency in English (German language skills are a plus)
