Our client, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of IT DACH to lead and evolve IT operations across the DACH region. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation, align IT with business goals, and foster innovation across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Governance & Compliance - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, local regulations, and internal policies across major IT initiatives, including cloud migration, ERP modernization, and infrastructure harmonization.
2. Technology Strategy & Leadership - Lead the regional execution of global IT strategies. Serve as the primary liaison between local operations and global IT leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication.
3. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable IT solutions. Prioritize initiatives that support commercial growth and strategic objectives.
4. Operational Excellence - Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and service delivery. Ensure successful implementation of enterprise-wide solutions while maintaining high standards of performance and risk management.
5. Team Leadership & Development - Build and mentor a high-performing IT team. Promote a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation across all country sites.
Candidate Profile
6. Degree in Technology, Business, or a related field
7. Proven years of working experience in IT leadership roles
8. Proven success in managing complex IT programs and aligning them with business strategy
9. Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making in commercial environments
10. Financial acumen and strategic thinking
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
12. Fluent in English and German (or local language)
13. Demonstrated leadership qualities: integrity, customer focus, results orientation, talent development, and collaboration
