Are you an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the Danish educational landscape? Do you possess the unique ability to bridge the gap between pedagogical vision and business excellence?
For our Danish subsidiary, we are seeking an entrepreneurially‑minded Managing Director to lead our four existing facilities into a new era of growth and structural stability.
Your Mission
* Executive Leadership: Oversee four childcare centres (three in Copenhagen, one in Kolding), ensuring high‑quality care for approximately 450 families.
* Organizational Development: Drive the structural evolution of the company, professionalise existing workflows and strategically scale the organisation.
* Strategic Decision‑Making: Make future‑oriented decisions and solve operational challenges independently and proactively in the complex field of early childhood education.
* Empowering Teams: Provide stability and motivate staff by combining pedagogical expertise with business acumen.
* Representation & Negotiation: Represent the provider in dealings with municipalities, authorities and partners, navigating negotiations with confidence and diplomacy.
Your Profile
* Danish Market Expertise: Profound knowledge of the Danish childcare landscape (Dagtilbudsloven) gained through operating centres, consultancy or work within a municipality.
* Dual Competency: Solid pedagogical background paired with strong business management skills.
* Leadership Experience: Proven track record in management, high intercultural competence and an open‑minded approach toward different generations and cultures.
* Ownership Mindset: Strong identification with the company’s mission and willingness to stand accountable for the entity you lead.
* Language Proficiency: Business‑fluent in Danish, German and English.
