We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Java (m/f/d) to strengthen our Shared Services team, which supports other Jedox Platform teams, notably by providing central services such as authentication.
Your Responsibilities
Independently solve complex problems, manage workload, prioritize tasks, and consistently deliver high‑quality results.
Design, build and maintain secure, reliable and scalable solutions, participating in the full software lifecycle.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the needs, ensuring clear communication and continuous improvement.
Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, stay current with technology trends and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Your Profile
5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable Java applications.
Solid understanding of authentication protocols, including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
Strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Proven ability to design secure, multi‑tenant, highly available and fault‑tolerant systems.
Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis.
Experience with scalable microservice architectures and cloud‑ready applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, load balancing, cloud security).
Security‑first mindset, strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
