We are seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to lead and optimise the Non-Food category for one of our key clients in the e-commerce space. This is a leadership position, responsible for managing a team of five category professionals, driving category growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction through strategic planning, supplier management, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Category Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with business objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to shape assortment and pricing strategies. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five category managers and assistants. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring clear objectives, coaching, and career development. Supplier & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brands. Negotiate commercial terms, promotional agreements, and ensure optimal stock availability. Assortment & Pricing Optimisation: Define and manage product assortment to maximise sales and margin. Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market analysis and performance metrics. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor category KPIs (sales, margin, inventory turnover) and deliver actionable insights. Use data analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and tech teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. Drive promotional campaigns and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years in category management, ideally within e-commerce or retail. Proven track record in managing Drugstore/Health & Beauty categories. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams. Skills: Strong leadership and people management capabilities. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong plus. Education: Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
