* Job objective
The aim is to ensure fault-free operation of the systems and technical equipment at the Lehrte site. The job holder is responsible for this. In addition, the following areas are the responsibility of the job holder:
* Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and carrying out preventive and operational maintenance of machinery and equipment for cleaning and handling IFCO crates in accordance with food industry requirements.
* Responsible for occupational safety, hygiene and quality standards (ISO 9001, HACCP).
* Use of the Synergit maintenance management system to plan, document and track all maintenance and repair work.
* Minimizing system downtimes.
* Ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel.
* Main tasks and responsibilities
1) Planning and control of maintenance
* Creating and updating the preventive maintenance plan for all systems in the Synergit system.
* Coordination of immediate measures in the event of malfunctions to minimize downtimes.
* Complete documentation of all maintenance and repair measures in Synergit.
* Spare part management with Synergit system in coordination with the spare parts
supervisor.
2) Compliance with standards and regulations / management of media, auxiliary and operating materials
* Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP and internal maintenance processes.
* Monitoring the consumption of electricity, gas, water and disinfectants used
3) Team management
* Assigning tasks to technicians, monitoring work results.
* Performance evaluation, organization of training courses and further development of the team through internal and external training measures.
4) Safety and hygiene
* Ensuring that maintenance work is carried out in accordance with occupational
safety regulations and food industry hygiene standards.
* Monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
5) Cooperation and communication
* Coordination with production, quality control and warehouse when planning shut downs.
* Communication with suppliers of spare parts and external service providers.
* Required skills
* Specialist knowledge: Mechanical, electrical, industrial automation; knowledge of hygiene standards in the food industry.
* Skills: Maintenance planning, working with technical documentation, team leadership, problem solving.
* Education: master craftsman, technician, studies (e.g. mechanic, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or similar) or equivalent qualification.
* Professional experience: At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance of production facilities, ideally in the food industry.
* Further requirements:
* Good PC skills (MS Office, Synergit)
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Ability to communicate in English and German
* Willingness to work weekends, in shifts and on call

* Approving and ordering spare parts up to the specified budget amount.
* Deciding on priorities for repairs and shutdowns.
* Proposals for investments to modernize systems.
