You provide strategic advice on the application of the latest technologies to customers and guide them through their transition in entering new markets.Being a senior advisor to customers and the organization, you support throughout the opportunity development and bidding process, including the evaluation of potential opportunities, crafting and defining our consulting scopes & services with Customers up to proposal development, and negotiation.How You’ll Make an Impact Establish relationships with government, regulatory bodies, and industry collaborators to support Siemens Energy’s grid consulting services in the region. Attend conferences and association meetings to stay informed on energy sector technology and market trends, sharing insights with the organization. Advise customers on the benefits and risks of adopting new technologies and entering new markets, offering strategies to address challenges and opportunities. Assist customers in defining study scopes and concepts that align with their business goals and regulatory requirements, incorporating industry standard processes. Review customer RfI/RfP documents, guide bid decisions with business development and sales teams, and provide input on pricing, risk, and value propositions. Support contract negotiations and execution to meet strategic objectives, while contributing to accurate financial forecasting and planning for regional business development. What You Bring Master’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical power engineering or higher, with 8+ years of consulting experience in the energy sector, including a portfolio of successful projects. Knowledge in transmission planning and operational studies (100 kV–400 kV), covering steady state, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, and control systems. Experience in combining techno-economic analysis with decarbonization strategies to support balanced energy transitions and advise policy or investment decisions. Understanding of TSO resource approval processes and grid planning, with experience working with TSOs, DSOs, utilities, and developers. Skills in power electronic applications (, HVDC, STATCOM, Electrolyzers), power transmission systems, grid code compliance, and renewable generation like wind and solar. Strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in English, an analytical mentality with problem-solving abilities, and willingness to travel up to 40%.
