The Role
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to play a key role in procurement operations across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods suppliers for our portfolio of health and supplement brands.
This role is responsible for ensuring reliable supply, strong supplier partnerships, competitive cost structures, and procurement processes that scale with the growth of the business. The position combines strategic sourcing with strong operational execution and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with Product Development, Demand Planning, Operations, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure products are launched and replenished efficiently while continuously improving procurement performance and resilience.
This is a high-impact role in a rapidly scaling business and is ideal for someone who combines analytical rigor, ownership, negotiation strength, and operational pragmatism.
What You’ll Do
Supplier & Sourcing Management
* Own relationships with key suppliers across raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing
* Lead sourcing, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations
* Identify opportunities to improve cost, lead times, quality, and service levels
* Build strategic supplier partnerships that support long-term scalability
* Develop sourcing strategies that reduce dependency and improve supply resilience
Procurement Operations
* Manage purchasing processes and ensure timely ordering of materials and products
* Monitor stock risks, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs
* Coordinate closely with Demand Planning to ensure continuity of supply
* Support launch planning and procurement readiness for new products and product changes
* Ensure procurement data and systems remain accurate and up to date
Cost & Performance Management
* Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising product quality or reliability
* Analyze procurement spend, price developments, and supplier performance trends
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Identify process improvement opportunities across procurement workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner closely with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations
* Support issue resolution related to supply, quality, and production challenges
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operational organization
* Act as a strong business partner across brands and functions
Process & Scalability
* Help professionalize procurement processes, tools, and reporting
* Support the evolution of procurement capabilities as Vanatari scales
* Contribute to building a more data-driven and resilient procurement organization
* Ensure processes are scalable across multiple brands and markets

What We’re Looking For
Experience
* 5-7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
* Experience in supplements, FMCG, food, cosmetics, pharma, or a similar regulated industry is a strong plus
* Experience managing international suppliers and negotiations
* Experience working in scaling or fast-paced environments preferred
Skills
* Fluency in German and English
* Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities
* Analytical and commercially minded
* Structured and detail-oriented with strong execution skills
