Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, and trekking e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.
With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking an Operations Manager to be based in Hannover.
This role will require you to:
* Manage Leon Cycle operations center in Hannover consisting of supply chain, logistics and warehouse as well as after-sales customer support center.
* Hire and establish a team of technician, customer services and warehouse and logistics staff to service all of DACH retail operations support and B2B sales support.
* Business partner with all regional Sales Managers to ensure timely delivery and local transportation of goods and products to end users and dealers, whilst monitoring local logistics and warehouse costs, always looking for process improvements.
* Manage all after-sales services and customer enquiries, ensure all returns are being logged on a daily and weekly basis, providing customer support excellence and maintaining 5-star ratings for customer feedbacks
* Business partner with local Hannover retail Manager on some retail operations support and online and telephone pre-sales customer/dealer inquiries.
* Other administration support and management in areas of HR, Finance, IT as needed locally
* Be the coordinator and bridge between Germany and Shanghai global headquarter for all internal liaison and participate in all weekly operational conference calls, provide weekly report on operations status (inventory check, in/out, customer complaints and after-sales handling, returns etc)
* Other adhoc matters as and when needed to do with Leon Cycle DACH operations.
Requirements:
* 8-10 years of supply chain experience in a trading and retail business
* Experience and knowledge in customs, anti-dumping regulations, logistics and warehouse operations
* Experience working in a very fast pace environment
* Strong network of vendors and brokers
* Knowledge and ability to set up SOPs and process excellence within logistics, warehouse and customer support (after-sales services)
* Experience working with start up and high growth companies
* Strong sense of urgency and very hands on
* Strong fluency in English and native German communication skills
* Bachelor/ Master in Supply Chain Management
