We are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). Amazon works directly with DSPs to make deliveries to our customers.
We are looking for a Senior Program and Risk Manager to join the Last Mile Network Health team. This person will work closely with regional operations stakeholders, account managers, internal teams, and customers to manage the life cycle for Delivery Service Partners across your region and/or business line(s).
The Business Partner (Network Health) Manager will drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data, proposing risk mitigation strategies for complex challenges, influencing stakeholders, removing obstacles and delivering results. Responsible for setting the vision and operational plans for the 1-3 year horizon supporting the business expansions
- Manage multiple projects and tasks ensuring timelines are met and resource needs are understood
- Able to switch between supporting, leading and managing
- Cross-functional coordination and alignment with stakeholders including Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
The Network Health team is part of the wider EU DSP organization. Our role is to work closely with our stakeholders in assessing the health of our business partners (i.e. the network) and how we can improve the “win-win” collaboration with our DSPs while improving performance and compliance.
Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholders (e.g. definition of accurate network expansion plans, vendor development, quality assurance, design and cost improvement, team and stakeholder engagement)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
- Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- French, Italian or Spanish
