At Alpine Eagle, we are a team of specialists with backgrounds in defence, aerospace engineering and machine learning, building the first airborne, swarm-based system to provide protection against the rising drone threat. We believe that recent conflicts have shown the malicious and disruptive potential of drones in both civilian and defense scenarios. đŻ How you will make an impact:
As the Director Physical Systems, Test and Prototyping, you will be instrumental in advancing our drone technology. You will lead and inspire our prototyping and testing group and be part of Alpine Eagleâs leadership team. You will be hands-on, develop test benches, iterate UAV designs, lead the testing strategy and collaborate with other teams to deliver next-generation drone solutions.
* Drive and Own the Prototyping and Test Strategy and Development Roadmap: Derive prototyping and testing milestones from company objectives, establish a systematic development process and be responsible for the timely delivery of new capabilities.
* Lead and Develop a Group of Testing and Prototyping Specialists: Lead by example and create an environment in which high-performing individuals can thrive.
* Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in UAV design and applications, with a special focus on aerial and C-UAS applications.
* Configuration Management and Documentation: Introduce an efficient configuration management framework and foster a culture of thorough documentation.

What you need to be successful:
* Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in at least two of the following fields: flight test, system test, embedded systems, prototyping or UAV design.
* Experience with CAD suites such as CATIA, Solidworks or AutoCAD is a strong plus
* Prior experience in leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment is a strong plus.
* A hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership.
* You approach complex problems systematically and document your results.
