Role: Contracts Manager – MEP (Mission Critical Projects)
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Full-Time, On-Site)
Employment type: Full time / on-site / permanent
Salary: €120,000 – €140,000 + package
We’re working with a well-established MEP design and build contractor delivering large-scale projects across Europe.
They’re looking to bring in a Contracts Manager with a strong commercial / Quantity Surveying background to take ownership of multiple high-value projects across data centres, pharmaceutical, and other mission critical environments.
This is very much a commercially led role, so someone who is confident managing contracts, driving commercial performance, and protecting margin across complex MEP packages will do well here.
What you’ll be doing
* Taking full ownership of commercial and contractual performance across multiple MEP projects
* Reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to reduce risk and maximise profitability
* Leading on variations, claims, and dispute resolution
* Managing cost reporting, forecasting, and financial performance across projects
* Driving procurement strategy and leading subcontractor negotiations
* Working closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
* Implementing strong change control and commercial governance processes
* Acting as the main commercial point of contact for clients and stakeholders
* Leading commercial meetings and providing clear, accurate reporting
* Supporting and mentoring QS and commercial teams across projects
What we’re looking for
* Strong background in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management within MEP contracting
* Experience operating at Contracts Manager or Senior Commercial level
* Proven experience on data centres, pharma, or other mission critical projects
* Strong knowledge of contract forms such as NEC, FIDIC, or similar
* Excellent contract negotiation and risk management experience
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
