Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) ranks among the global leaders in the field of flight training and employs a staff of around 700 at ten training locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the USA. Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy (LAT PA) is part of the Lufthansa Aviation Training group of companies and is responsible, under the umbrella brand European Flight Academy, for the ab-initio training of airline transport pilots. While aspiring pilots receive their theoretical training at the Bremen location, the practical flight training takes place in Rostock-Laage.
